Certified Life Coach
I work with people who want to grow in their professional and personal life.
What type of coaching do you offer and to whom?
As a Life/Business and Career Coach, I work with people who want to embrace change and plan their next steps from a position of strength. Whether it is enhancing their leadership skills; a career change; re-invention after downsizing/retirement; or starting a new business, I help my clients to clarify their vision and set achievable goals and timelines.
Why did you get into coaching? What motivates you?
I was a marketing communications executive for an international company for many years and one of my greatest joys and accomplishments was mentoring my staff and colleagues and watching them grow and develop professionally and personally. I like helping people to see their own potential and create a vision for themselves and what is important to them and put plans into action to create a life they love.
What differentiates you from other coaches?
I like working with people who are in the midst of change because I have experienced many significant life changes myself in a short period of time. I can leverage my experience in leadership, management, marketing and communications to help my clients gain clarity on their objectives and create achievable goals and timelines. The majority of my coaching is done over the phone which my clients find convenient and helps with scheduling our sessions on a consistent basis. We typically work with an agenda for the call which helps them to prioritize and focus their energies on actions aligned with their goals. We end each call with a follow-up action or next steps the client will take.
What values are important to you when working with clients?
I think it is important to really listen to what clients are saying. Intuitively we all know what is best for us and sometimes we just need to have someone help us clarify our vision so that we can create goals to achieve them. I like how my clients consider me part of their team of trusted people who will help motivate and inspire them to make the changes they want to make. I consider coaching another tool in the tool kit for success.
What do you do for fun?
I enjoy listening to live music, walking and exploring sights in and around Western Mass. I love spending time with friends and my family; it’s always chaotic and fun and energizing at the same time.
