Certified Professional Coach
I help parents and families that are overscheduled and under-connected, create more calm, connection and peace in their lives.
What type of coaching do you offer and to whom?
I work with parents who are overwhelmed with the busyness of their personal and family life and want more connection to themselves, their partner, their children and the family as a whole. I help them move toward greater life balance between the doing and being of life, scheduled and unscheduled time. And help them create rituals of connection that strengthen their relationship to themselves, their partner and their family.
Why did you get into coaching? What motivates you?
I saw coaching as a great fit for the work I wanted to create, helping people to transform the way they lived and celebrated their life. I see such a potential in coaching and celebrating for people to more fully love, nurture and sustain themselves. I decided to start with parents and families, believing that the love and peace families create ripples out into the world and into the future.
What differentiates you from other coaches?
What makes me different is my offering a blend of personal, family life coaching, and coaching around creating family ritual and celebration. My work with parents is focused more on creating greater connection than on resolving behavior problems, looking beyond the problems with a more broad focus on building relationship and community.
What values are important to you when working with clients?
My clients and I highly value relationship, as we focus on connection to self and others. Other values related to the work we do are: openness to change and growth; peace in ourselves, our families and in the world.
What do you do for fun?
I love to walk in the park, cook vegetarian meals, have meaningful conversations with family, friends and neighbors, and write articles that include my own photos.
