Certified Dream Therapist, Reiki Master Teacher, Certified Proprioceptive Writing Instructor, Author, and Educator for over 15 years
As a dream expert and certified dream therapist, I help people use information and guidance from their dreams to improve their relationships, overcome creative blocks, move through life transitions with grace and ease, and tap into deep inner wisdom and guidance.
What type of coaching do you offer and to whom?
Through my Listening to Dreams process, I work with people who are looking for a practical, short-term, and proven method for moving through life transitions, getting unstuck from old patterns, and letting go of old beliefs so they can move into the life they’ve always dreamed of.
Why did you get into coaching? What motivates you?
Everybody dreams—but not everybody realizes that their nighttime dreams are a source of wisdom, healing (physical, psychological, and soulful), and inspiration. My own dreams have helped me through painful losses, grief, and trauma. They’ve also sparked my creativity as a poet and as a teacher. What’s more, through a lifetime of learning to understand the meaning and messages in my dreams and how to work with disturbing dreams and even nightmares, I’ve developed inner qualities such as courage, compassion, and resilience in the face of my greatest challenges. As a lifelong dreamer who uses my own nighttime dreams to make my waking dreams come true, I am passionate about helping others to do the same.
What differentiates you from other coaches?
As a dream expert I offer a unique brand of coaching based in deep and active listening to help people become curious about and engaged with their dreams. I offer people skills to help them understand the meaning and messages in their dreams and in some cases to use lucid dreaming and dream incubation to empower them to become active agents of change and healing in all aspects of their lives—from career, to relationships, to healing and more.
What values are important to you when working with clients?
I believe that all dreams (even nightmares) come in the service of health and healing—if only we can learn to listen to their wisdom. I don’t interpret dreams in the traditional sense—instead I believe that the correct interpretation of a dream is the one that works for the dreamer. Therefore, my role is to help people connect with their own deep wisdom that comes through their dreams, and understand their own dream language.
What do you do for fun?
I am an arts enthusiast, and love to attend performances of live music and dance as well as attend museums and gallery exhibitions. I love to read, write poetry, and create art, too. I also like to walk, kayak, practice yoga, and swim.
