I specialize in the inflection points of our work and lives, partnering creatively with professionals and leaders to navigate difficult change and improve self-awareness.
What type of coaching do you offer and to whom?
I offer coaching to those in a career or life transition. Those I work with are willing to be vulnerable and introspective. I use creative and intuitive approaches in my coaching to help you see yourself and your situation in new ways. As a highly sensitive person myself, I am a good match for deeply feeling individuals, highly sensitive persons, and those with anxiety. While I offer job search services such as resume review and interviewing preparation, these are part of a comprehensive coaching engagement, not standalone services.
Why did you get into coaching? What motivates you?
I love to talk about what inspires you. That starts with the work that we do in the world everyday – how we spend many of our waking hours. After graduating from UMass Amherst, I spent 25 years of my career in corporate Human Resources, a job I loved with my whole heart.
It was a strong fit for my skills. I found my stride as a leader in business and enjoyed a lot of upward mobility. When a corporate acquisition placed me in a decision about a bigger job, I started to feel deeply confused about whether my career was allowing the things I wanted in my life. I realized…it wasn’t.
Coming to that conclusion was a hard and drawn-out process, fraught with sleepless nights and many visits to the doctor for chronic infection due to stress. Then a trusted colleague said something that untwisted me. “I can’t tell you what to do, but I hope that you find clarity.” There were no answers in that statement, except for one: this was mine to figure out. I had to stop waiting for directions to the next destination.
I made a move everyone described as “bold”. I left the security, community, and identity of my executive role for a brave and exciting career change. Now, I am able to help you emerge with your own clarity, connection and professional purpose. I’m exactly where I should be: here for YOU.
What differentiates you from other coaches?
I am certified in the Energy Leadership Index Assessment and it’s a transformative lens on life. Your reality is a mirror reflecting your level of consciousness—your thoughts, feelings, and emotions about yourself, others, and the world. Some aspects of your consciousness serve you, while others hold you back from fulfilling your potential and understandably so. We’re human! With the research-backed ELI assessment, you’ll take something abstract—the way you experience the world—and turn it into a tangible metric with profound and practical insights you can use to transform your life.
I am also a student of several change facilitation programs with a neuroscience approach. I use this understanding of how the brain responds to change to invite your subconscious into the discussion.
What values are important to you when working with clients?
My highest priority is to ensure you feel seen and heard. We honor your lived experience and hold space for the full spectrum of emotions. We build the type of deep trust that allows for discovery and growth. I will challenge you in a way that shows deep personal care and genuine curiosity. In the coaching modality, we do not give advice. That principle allows every connection point to flow from who you are and what you want to achieve.
What do you do for fun?
Great question! I’m happiest in nature and when I’m holding my camera. Western Mass is such a beautiful region. I post my images on Instagram @greeneimages and love to share the beauty of New England. I’m a mom of two boys (now young men), and married to a sports fanatic who loves Springsteen. We also love the theater. And this woman can dance!
