PROGRAM OVERVIEW

This first meeting of the fall will provide members an opportunity to meet Amber Ladley, our web designer, and hear her describe some of the strategies she uses for building and improving websites.  In the first wave of enhancements to the WMCA website, Amber worked on making the WMCA website mobile friendly, sharpened calls to action and customized side menus on key pages.  The major enhancement was a total reworking of WMCA’s “Find a Coach” page so that it incorporates coaches’ photos for the first time, lists their specialties, and then links to a more detailed profile page for each coach.  Amber has requested that WMCA members with questions about building or improving their websites email these questions to WMCA so we can forward them to her.

Amber Ladley is a creative entrepreneur who enjoys helping people understand how technology goes hand-in-hand with business. As a web professional for fifteen years, she excels at helping her clients create goals and set up strategies which result in success. Amber’s deeply held fascination with the Internet and the collective knowledge it offers propels her vision. Often spoken of as supportive and collaborative, she enjoys helping other small business owners with their website needs. Prior to her role as an independent contractor, Amber was the Web Communications Specialist for Mount Holyoke College and the Manager of Website Operations for Healthcommunities.com.
