PROGRAM OVERVIEW
The trait of high sensitivity shows up in roughly 20% of over a hundred different species. It is a well-researched and documented trait that impacts both how people see the world and how they relate to each other. These numbers mean that if you have more than five clients, chances are good that one of them is an HSP (Highly Sensitive Person).
Sometimes confused with introversion (in fact, fully 30% of highly sensitive people are extroverts), there are benefits to having this trait that are not always visible at first glance.
In this session I will explain the trait and characteristics, we’ll take the self-test to identify whether you might be or not, then we’ll do a bit of triad coaching to explore the differences an HSP brings into the mix.
Participants will have an opportunity to get curious about what high sensitivity is and explore how it might impact their clients in a safe container. They will come away with a greater understanding of how high sensitivity manifests, to better dance in the moment with HS clients. Coaches will also come away with an understanding of whether or not they might be highly sensitive, resources to learn more about high sensitivity, and an experience of coaching a highly sensitive person, thereby adding to their professional development. Finally, they will see how having this trait gives HSPs a different flavor of creativity, resourcefulness, and wholeness to work with.
